Todd was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Dr. Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Amy their children: David, Alexis, and Christopher his parents, Larry and Jean his siblings: Jim (Kim), Jeff (Dawn) Brandemuehl, Jackie (Randy) Christensen, Jolene (Greg) Millin, Jennifer (Lynn) Koch his mother-in-law, Janet Strobel in-laws: Mike (Shelley) Strobel, Susan (Todd) Schneider, Lisa (Roger) Gleisner, Greg (Robin), Randy (Michelle) Strobel many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Family was a top priority to Todd he was generous with his time, always lending a helping hand to anyone in need. Todd took pride in his hard work ethic and passed that trait on to his children. He was a member of the Little Britches Rodeo, West Grant Saddle Club, and Southwest Wisconsin High School Rodeo Association. Together they farmed in Liberty Township, WI, and owned and operated Brandemuehl Farms, LLC. Strobel at the United Methodist Church in Mankato, MN.
On May 30, 1998, Todd was united in marriage to Amy J. In 1996, through his brother, Jeff, Todd became a farm hand on the Strobel family farm near Mankato, MN, where he met his future wife, Amy. After graduation, he farmed with his father, Larry. Todd graduated from Lancaster High School in 1982. He was born on April 15, 1964, the son of Larry and Jean (Schildgen) Brandemuehl. Brandemuehl, age 57, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. Mike is survived by his wife, Ashley three children: Jayden, Emma, and Mazie two-step children: Bentley and Lynea parents, Greg and Carol Schramm brother, Bill (Jenny) Schramm and several nieces and nephews.

He loved being in the woods and spent much of his free time hunting, camping, or cruising on his bike. Mike graduated from Lancaster High School in 1999 and then went to work – most recently at the John Deere Dubuque Works.
